Thirty-six seniors graduated from St Joseph High School on May 14. After the ceremony concluded, which took place in the church sanctuary, the Class of 2017 did the traditional mortar board toss in front of the church steeple.

Presidential Awards for Excellence were earned by six seniors who maintained a 3.5 or better GPA and had at least a 30 on their ACT Test. Nick Royal, Nick Davanzo, Patricia Lambe, Madison Beck, Hunter Trussell, and Colton Brorman.
Nineteen seniors are Honor Graduates in 2017.

The Senior Scholarship and Awards Banquet was held Wednesday evening in the Parish Hall Dining Room. Several college and university representatives, along with individual benefactors, presented scholarships to members of this year's graduating class. A number of academic awards were also handed out. Among them was the Father Dellert Award which goes to the senior boy and girl who best exemplify what a St Joseph student should be. This year's recipients are Hunter Trussell and Gabrielle Hathaway.
