  • Understands the communicative classroom and an immersion environment

  • Develops lesson plans, learning experiences, and supplementary materials compatible with the instructional philosophy and Mission of St. Joseph School.

  • Embraces technology, as appropriate, to enrich students' learning experience

  • Establishes and maintains standards of student behavior needed to provide a productive, encouraging and stimulating classroom environment

  • Evaluates and provides timely feedback on student progress appropriate to the level of instruction, and make curricular adjustments in accordance with student needs

  • Complies with diocesan policies and procedures as mandated by the Superintendent of the Office of Catholic Schools

  • Manage faculty and staff to facilitate and ensure cohesive teamwork

  • Enthusiasm for developing and maintaining a school with a strong Catholic identity and rigorous academic program

  • Advance degree in Educational Leadership preferred, not required

  • Administration experience preferred, not required

  • Have at least 5 years experience in education
