St. Joseph Preschool students started off their Friday having breakfast with their grandparents, and it was a full house! The Preschool faculty and staff hosted the event and provided doughnuts, muffins, coffee and juice. The students gave each of their grandparents a piece of artwork to wish them a happy Grandparents' Day. Thank you to all of the sweet grandparents for visiting our campus this morning and spending this special time with our littlest Bulldogs! #FaithLearningLiving
At SJMS, Mrs. Gooch's 4th graders have been studying the engineer process in science. "Students were excited to create their first prototype, which was a hearing-enhancing device. Students took their creativity and knowledge to create devices that allowed them to hear farther away, behind them, and to hear more clearly. Once they finished them, they presented them to the class. They explained why they chose their design and how their hearing-enhancing device worked. They worked extremely hard on their project!" explained Mrs. Gooch. Great job, 4th grade!
SJS Families: The temperatures are going to start dropping, and on the way out the door in the morning, students will be grabbing that sweatshirt, hoodie, pullover, windbreaker, or jacket. BUT, what can they wear on what day? Our Middle School students are modeling to help you out!
*Need K-12 uniform sweatshirts, pullovers, hoodies, windbreakers, or jackets, the PTO will be having a Fall order soon!
*What about Booster Club Bulldog spirit wear? Come to the gym during a home game to see what all is on display and ready to sell.
*And don't forget, our SJS Volunteer Center also has resale uniform and spirit wear items at great prices for sale during school hours.

At St. Joseph Middle School, Emma Morgan and Avery Hiegel were treated recently to “lunch with the principal,” a prize from the bazaar auction, hosted by Mrs. Rehm, K-6 Assistant Principal. "These two girls were the best company! They are both former students, and I am so happy to be on the campus with them this year. They told me ALL of the things they are loving about 4th grade, and we shared a yummy meal from Chipotle, Emma’s choice," said Mrs. Rehm. #FaithLearningLiving
Yesterday in Ms. Barker's 7th period Anatomy class, Father Daniel joined in the fun learning about osmosis! The purpose of the lab was to help students visualize how substances enter and exit the cell.
"Egg on right has had the shell dissolved off due to vinegar. Egg in the middle has become smaller due to soaking it in corn syrup. Egg on the left is results from soaking it in Distilled water and blue food coloring. This lab was to visualize what happens to our cells when we get certain types of IV’s!" explained Ms. Barker, SJHS Anatomy Teacher. #faithlearningliving
