Ms. Abigail Covington is doing amazing things at St. Joseph Elementary! Read all about her love of teaching and her special interest in the Saints in the Making Program. Thank you, Ms. Covington, for all you do at St. Joseph School!
There is a lot happening at St. Joseph Middle School in Mrs. Fullerton's 6th grade English class! "We spent the week learning about different book genres in Literature. We finished the week with a "Book Tasting" where students got to get a 'taste' of the books we have in our classroom library. Books were divided by different genres at the tables and students rotated through seven different genres of books during the Book Tasting. We ended our event with a chocolate chip cookie. It's a great way to get the students in front of books that they might not have tried before. Several remarked that they found some books that they might not have tried before the Book Tasting," Mrs. Fullerton explained. #FaithLearningLiving The fall semester is a great time to take a tour of St. Joseph School! St. Joseph School is excited to announce that Mrs. Meagan Williams will be the Elementary & Middle School Counselor for the 2023-2024 school year. “I have been married to my husband Travis for 15 years, and we have one beautiful daughter, Adley, who will be in first grade at SJES. In my free time, I love to cook and bake, do arts and crafts, and spend time with family and friends. After 14 years in the classroom, I am excited to start my new role as K-6 counselor and K-12 Special Education designee!" Please help us welcome Mrs. Williams to the St. Joseph School Family!
St. Joseph School is excited to announce that Mrs. Donna Pruett will be joining the elementary faculty for the 2023-2024 school year as a Kindergarten Teacher. “I am a proud military family member. My husband, Dave, is retired from the Air Force & is now a rad/lab tech here in town. Our two sons, Sean & Garrett, are serving in the Air Force & National Guard. Sean & his wife Jenny are stationed in California for now, & Garrett is serving in the GA National Guard full-time. We hail from the Peach State, so cheering for Bulldogs is second nature for me! I have taught in both public & Catholic schools of all sizes in four states & Germany in K-3. I enjoy reading, traveling, gardening, shopping, & I adore hanging out with my family--we love to laugh! One of my favorite Psalms is Psalm 46:10: ‘Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.’ In our busy world, it's a great reminder that we need to slow down, have faith and know that God is always here.” Please help us welcome Mrs. Pruett to the St. Joseph School Family!
St. Joseph School is excited to announce that Mrs. Mallory Bradford will be joining the Preschool faculty as a Preschool 3/4 Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. “My husband is Tom, and we have 3 children who will be attending SJS beginning this fall. I am currently pursuing a degree in early childhood education. I have taught Pre-K 3 for 2 years now. I love to bake cakes and make decorated cookies. In addition to baking, in my free time I love to craft and do woodworking projects with my husband. My favorite quote is 'Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children, play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood.' -Fred Rogers" Please help us welcome Mrs. Bradford to the St. Joseph School Family!
