Third graders Sarai Flanagin, Bliss Woodson and America Gonzalez plant broccoli, cauliflower and spinach in the Elementary School garden that began in 2015. The class will water and maintain it and will conduct a salad taste test in May. #SJSuccess

Congratulations to SJS 8th graders Caleb Mallett and Lilly Hill. They were among others from area schools to receive the Marvin Delph Student Athlete Award from the Conway Athletic Awards Commission. Delph was a star basketball player from Conway who also excelled at the University of Arkansas.

Middle School students had a guest speaker February 15 who spoke about the needs of homeless people in Conway and Faulkner County. Ms Spring Hunter from the Conway Ministry Center opened the students' eyes to this issue and as a result will be involved in a class project during Lent to assist the homeless. #SJSuccess

Ms Erika Stobaugh, the Room Mom for Ms Evans' 3rd grade class, coordinated a Valentine activity making gift bags for children at Bethlehem House. They're being delivered there to "spread God's love to other children."

Religion teacher Theresa Lutes is happy she got a card, especially since the sales support polio eradication.

High school juniors Lauren Holbrook and Caroline Hambuchen receive heart cards on Valentine's Day through the efforts of the Interact Club.
