Several SJS students are spending their Spring Break in New York City. Journalism student Emily Hambuchen is one of them and she's reporting on her trip. With her are Caroline Hambuchen, Chloe Kordsmeier, Lauren Holbrook, Olivia Huett, Abby McKenna and Noah Decker. This first photo shows them huddled on a Broadway street corner. Their attire tells us it's cold up there.

Many students on all of our campuses wore green shirts today in honor of St. Patrick's Day. Those who did also donated greenbacks for the privilege in support of The Arkansas Pregnancy Resource Center in Little Rock. Their mission is to save unborn babies from abortion. Kindergarten teacher Charlotte Moix and students Cy Davis and Samuel Rawls took part in the effort which raised $327.23.
