Continuing their New York City visit, our SJS students pose with local policemen.

This is a view of the New York skyline from the Empire State Building. More photos as they're received.

One of the group's stops was the iconic Empire State Building which is 102 stories tall. Construction began in 1930 and was made world famous a few years later when a model of it was used in the first "King Kong" movie. The students are seen here on the observation platform.

Several SJS students are spending their Spring Break in New York City. Journalism student Emily Hambuchen is one of them and she's reporting on her trip. With her are Caroline Hambuchen, Chloe Kordsmeier, Lauren Holbrook, Olivia Huett, Abby McKenna and Noah Decker. This first photo shows them huddled on a Broadway street corner. Their attire tells us it's cold up there.

Many students on all of our campuses wore green shirts today in honor of St. Patrick's Day. Those who did also donated greenbacks for the privilege in support of The Arkansas Pregnancy Resource Center in Little Rock. Their mission is to save unborn babies from abortion. Kindergarten teacher Charlotte Moix and students Cy Davis and Samuel Rawls took part in the effort which raised $327.23.

Father Tony and Father Alfhones conducted a prayer service in honor of our patron St. Joseph this morning. His official Feast Day is Sunday, but a couple of Masses will be said for him on Monday. #SJSuccess

Lucas Rawls has some whipped cream added to his bowl of ice cream.

Interact Club members Emily Hambuchen, Abby McKenna and Olivia Huett get ready to garnish ice cream they're preparing to give to club members during lunch. They were celebrating St Patrick's Day early so as to not conflict with Friday Fundraiser.
