St. Joseph High School's golf teams played their first matches of the season on August 15 in a nine hole contest against Quitman on the Links at Cadron Valley course in Conway.
Both the St. Joseph boys and girls came out on top. The boys' team score was 134 over Quitman's 148 while the girls won 134 to 153. Logan Bruich was the boys' leading scorer with a 40 while Presli Webb led the girls with a 36.
