St. Joseph's Cross Country teams took part in the Quitman High School Invitational on October 19 and came away with 1st and 2nd Place finishes.
The Junior Boys took the top spot with Daniel Trusty and Vince Porcaro leading the way in a 2-mile Run. Daniel came in at 11:36:50 while Vince timed out at 11:47:10.
The Junior Girls were close behind in 2nd Place with Anna and Emily Nabholz crossing the line at 12:53:10 and 13:59:50, respectively, in the same distance. Anna also had the distinction of medaling by winning 10th Place overall in the 1A-6A Divisions. She also received a t-shirt for her effort.
The teams go back to Quitman on October 25 for their District Meet.
