Ms. Angela Collins’s science classes have been experimenting recently. They have been working on an activity to learn how to identify parts of the eyeball in Honors Anatomy and Physiology, while the Honors Chemistry class has been working on filtrating mixtures.
Megan Garrett is shown working with a mixture of sand, gravel, copper, and water. The purpose of the experiment was to set up a filtration device and filter a mixture. This was in preparation for a lab where they filtered a reaction between strontium chloride and sodium carbonate.
