The St. Joseph Bulldogs played its first baseball game of the season March 2 and won it by defeating the Poyen Indians 5-4. It was a close contest helped by clutch pitching by reliever Gage Kordsmeier who got the save. The team will play again on Thursday March 4 against the Woodlawn Bears at Woodlawn. The boys will also play Friday at home against Magnet Cove.
