St. Joseph High School students in Ms. Phyllis Eubanks' 7th, 9th, and 11th grade religion classes recently took part in the annual Summer Cereal Drive. It's a hunger relief initiative coordinated by Little Rock television station KTHV and the Arkansas Food Bank. The drive is in its 26th year which collects cereal and oatmeal to help feed needy children in Central and South Arkansas whose access to meals is more limited when schools are out for the summer.
More than 180 boxes of cereal were delivered Thursday to Conway's Greater Pleasant Branch Baptist Church for distribution by Ms. Eubanks and 11th graders Clayton Lee and Mason Downey. The food was gladly received by Ms. Angela Lee, the church's Food Pantry Director
