St. Joseph High School's Junior Quiz Bowl Team competed in the Regional Finals at Cotter, Arkansas on February 14. These were the team's last matches of the season. Eighteen teams were split into two divisions. The Bulldogs were in the Red Division which included Bay, Caddo Hills, Cotter, Gurdon, Magazine, Mammoth Springs, Mt. Vernon/Enola and Ozark Catholic.
Ozark Catholic won the Division Championship while St. Joseph finished as its Runner-Up. Third Place went to Gurdon. Eighth graders Tyson Mallett and Cameron Gooch were named to the All-Tournament Team as a result of them being high point players by answering five or more questions correctly in each round. St. Joseph's average score was 320 points per game.
There were three morning rounds in which the Bulldogs competed with Buffalo Island Central, Cotter and Magazine. They won all three 370-205, 310-230 and 330-165. The afternoon rounds were with Cotter, Gurdon and Ozark Catholic. Those scores were 318-185, 295-285 and 360-220. Religion teachers Shade Gilbert and Phyllis Eubanks respectively served as coach and scorekeeper throughout the year. Principal, Dr. Matthew Tucker also served as one of the judges at both the Conference and Regional Tournaments. "
