The St. Joseph Cross Country teams participated in the Arkansas State Cross Country Championships, Thursday at Oaklawn Park in Hot Springs where they finished State Runner-Up behind Ozark Catholic in the 2A Boys division. The girls also ran but didn't win any accolades.

The girls team was led by freshman Abigail Rehm who finished in 19th with a time of 24:13.28 and followed closely by junior Avery Cooper in 20th at 24:20.05 and junior Olivia Brewer in 44th at 26:53.03

St. Joseph's Cross Country Coach Larry Trussell was very complimentary of all of his athletes. "To have season's best times from Avery Cooper, Olivia Brewer and Abigail Rehm for the girls and Christian O'Dwyer and Mason Farris for the boys, speaks volumes about where our program is going and that what we are doing is paying off," Coach Trussell said.
