Conference & District Champs

St. Joseph School's Fall Break started off with a bang Thursday night when our Lady Bulldogs took on the Magnet Cove Panthers in the Championship Game of the District 2A Volleyball Tournament

It was a hard-fought series of sets in which our girls won the first two 25-22 and 25-18.

The Panthers clawed-out a victory in the third set 25-20. Our girls started off slow in the fourth set but fought back from a deficit and wrapped-up a decisive victory for the coveted Conference and District Champion trophies.

The team can savor this achievement over the next couple of days, but it now must look ahead to moving up to the next level. It's on to the 2A-7 Regional Tournament at Taylor, Arkansas which is 180 miles south and nearly three hours driving time from here. St. Joseph is a #1 seed going in and will face a #4 seed Lafayette County High School which is located in Stamps, Arkansas near the Louisiana line. The games begin at Noon.

Congratulations to our players and coaches and Let's Go Bulldogs!
