Our boys and girls golf teams have had a busy week. After today's matches with Greenbrier and Perryville on the Links at Cadron Valley course they'll have had three straight days of competition. On Monday, they teed-off with Conway Christian and Mayflower. St. Joseph's boys finished in 1st Place with a team score of 127 over Conway Christian's 140. Senior Brendan Baker was the Medalist by shooting a score of 39. Our Lady Bulldogs also took 1st Place with a team score of 168 over Conway Christian's 184. The Medalist was senior Abigail Simon who came in with a score of 49.
Yesterday, the Bulldogs traveled to Russellville to play Atkins, Hackett and Hector at the Russellville Country Club. Our boys beat Hackett by one stroke 128 to 129. Brendan Baker was again a Medalist. He tied with Hackett's Dylan Carey with identical scores of 40. Our girls team finished in 2nd Place behind Atkins 159 to 151. Atkins' Brooklyn Willcutt was the Medalist. She shot a 43 compared to Abigail Simon's 46. We're hopeful for similar success in today's action.
