Father Jeff, Deacon French and several Eucharistic ministers marked the start of Lent by placing repentance ashes on the foreheads of students during the Ash Wednesday school Mass on February 26.
This begins six weeks of penitence before Easter which includes prayer, fasting, and alms - giving.
