Nicholas French had an athletic achievement yesterday that few baseball players at any level accomplish. He pitched a perfect game. No runs, no hits, no errors through six innings in a game shortened to the tournament two-hour time limit.
Nicholas did this at the Indian Classic at Poyen, AR against Poyen. The final score was 9-0 with Nicholas striking out 15 batters. He was also two out of three at the plate with two r.b.i's. "I'm proud of him," Coach Luke Davis said." "He used every bit of the zone and worked in three pitches to keep Poyen guessing. I'm expecting big performances like this all year!"
