The Integrity Insurance "Players of the Week" were named Friday and they're both recent Cross Country Medalists. Eighth grader Travis Jackson and 7th grader Edith Ramirez both finished in the Top Ten in their respective 2500 meter runs at the District Tournament in Quitman. Travis won 1st Place in his effort while Edith earned 3rd Place in hers. Each were also chosen as All-Conference runners.
As Junior Team members their season is over but there's no rest for the weary. They'll both turn to basketball this week when they'll be seen on the court Friday in Homecoming's Purple and Gold games.
