St. Joseph School

St. Joseph's Volleyball Team came back today from a two-set deficit with Life Way Christian School to tie it 2-2 at the 2A State Tournament in Quitman. Unfortunately, the Lady Bulldogs fell short in the fifth and final game. The game's tv announcers said it was the only match-up so far that had gone the distance.
The loss eliminated the girls from going any further but they showed great heart and tenacity in bouncing back the way they did. Our team had a fine year and displayed true Bulldog Spirit. Thank you, players and coaches, for all you've shown us this year. Special gratitude is also extended to seniors Blakely Holland, Ella Martin and Catherine Royal for the contributions and leadership they've provided during their high school years.
