Our girls golf team competed with about a dozen schools and as many individual qualifiers for the 2A State Golf Tournament at Glenwood on September 26. They finished in 4th Place with a team score of 345 on the 18-hole course. Kaitlyn Kordsmeier had the 5th best score by shooting a 92. She was also named an All-State golfer. Avery White finished with a 109 and junior Allie Evans came in at 144. Horatio won 1st Place, Parker's Chapel finished 2nd, and Buffalo Island came in 3rd.
This ended the the girls' season as only the Top Three golfers are eligible to move on to the final Overall Tournament. They had a great year winning most of their area matches and the 2A-2 District Championship. Seniors Kaitlyn Kordsmeier and Avery White will be greatly missed next year.
