It could be mild or spicy.

Students in St. Joseph High School's Spanish classes have been learning about Hispanic culture through music and food. This week, they made their own salsa. "My classes worked in groups of two or three using a basic recipe of jalapeno peppers and tomatoes," teacher Carina Martinez said. "Adding green onions, avocado or cilantro was an option." The students could also choose to make the salsa mild or spicy. Mild was made with two peppers and two tomatoes. Three peppers and one tomato gave it spice. "But you never know with jalapenos," Ms Martinez laughingly added. "All of them were spicy!" She also noted that the students rated the activity five out of five.
