Last Saturday, St. Joseph's high school Quiz Bowl team won the District Tournament at Rison. Not to be outdone, our middle school Quiz Bowl team won 1st Place in the Private/Charter School Division Tournament held March 6 at the Arch Ford Education Service Cooperative in Plumerville.
It was the team's first official competition since a practice tournament in January at Central Baptist College. They competed with teams from Conway Christian, Sacred Heart in Morrilton, and Maumelle Charter. As a result of their win, the team now moves on to the Regional Tournament which will also be held at the Co-Op on March 28th.
