St. Joseph High School recognized more than 60 members of its Interact Club on April 23 at Conway's Beaverfork Lake Park with a celebration of the 1,500 hours of community service the students accumulated during the school year. Interact is a service club affiliated with Rotary Clubs International. Those club members who earned 15 hours or more were rewarded for their efforts by the Conway Noon Rotary Club with a picnic which included a lunch provided by Rotarian Bob Leffert and Centennial Bank. ![]()
The five students with the most volunteer hours were Abigail Bailey, 125 hours, Kinley Thessing, 82 hours, Emily Berumen, 74 hours, Shannon Trantina, 62 hours, and Emma Pasierb, 53 hours.
