Large numbers of parents and children took part in an end of the school year parade on May 14. Dozens of vehicles, including escorts from the Conway Fire and Police Departments, circled the Elementary School neighborhood as teachers, administrators, and staff from the Elementary and Middle School campuses waved good-bye to each other. It was the first time these students had seen their teachers since the Covid-19 shutdown began in March.
The experience was an emotional one for everyone, given their time apart. Teachers and students alike held signs expressing their love for each other and the hope for a normal return to class next term.
