Club's Service Recognized

St. Joseph High School recognized more than 60 members of its Interact Club on April 23 at Conway's Beaverfork Lake Park with a celebration of the 1,500 hours of community service the students accumulated during the school year. Interact is a service club affiliated with Rotary Clubs International. Those club members who earned 15 hours or more were rewarded for their efforts by the Conway Noon Rotary Club with a picnic which included a lunch provided by Rotarian Bob Leffert and Centennial Bank.

The five students with the most volunteer hours were Abigail Bailey, 125 hours, Kinley Thessing, 82 hours, Emily Berumen, 74 hours, Shannon Trantina, 62 hours, and Emma Pasierb, 53 hours.
