She'll be talking about the Hunter-Dunbar expedition that President Thomas Jefferson commissioned in 1804 to explore the southern region of the Louisiana Purchase. This included a journey up the Ouachita River to Hot Springs.

The Senior Class of 2016 received parts and began practicing for the annual Senior Play. This year, the Seniors will perform "Once Upon Camelot" on November 10th and 11th in both public and school appearances.

Anatomy classes are having "histology lab" for the next week or so, and are learning to recognize specific types of tissue by looking at slides with microscopes. The favorite tissue name so far is "Pseudostratified Ciliated Columnar Epithelium", which is found in the lining of our trachea.

The multimedia class launched their first episode of "DogHouse Connect" They were in charge of the creation of the name, logo, and everything else. We are on Facebook, twitter, Instagram, and snap chat. They developed the scripts, conducted the interviews, shot the footage at the events, and spent after hours of their own time editing. Doing all of the leg work will allow the next episodes to have more in them and hopefully be shorter on the turn around time. Check this out on the following link:

This year marks the 15th anniversary on the attack of the World Trade Center Towers, the Pentagon and flight 93. Also lost that day were the special heroes who rushed in to save the innocent; 343 firefighters, and 71 law enforcement personnel. Please drive with your lights on to give honor and remembrance to those who perished on 9-11.In addition at noon on Sunday, no matter where you are, stop put your hand on your heart and say a prayer for your nation and for the heroes who worked to save the victims and for the families that were left behind.
