Greetings to the students, parents, grandparents and faculty at St. Joseph School,
The labels project has started! it is time to collect your Campbell's Soup labels and Boxtops for Education.
Just a note to let you know that many of these labels are worth 10 cents each and the total amount of money adds up quickly. What a wonderful and painless way to make money for our school.
This project will run from September 2, 2016 to April 7, 2017.
Collect anything from the list below:
Boxtops for Education
Campbell Soup Labels (UPC’s)
Tyson A+ LabelsA
My Coke Reward Points
After clipping the labels please place them in a sandwich bag and bring them to school. Please bring them to room 12, Ms. Beacham’s room. Please label your bag with your grade level, if it is not labeled you will not get credit.
Aluminum Can Recycling-we will NOT be counting cans this year as part of the total points for the project. This became a challenge to handle last year but please continue to save your cans for the school. You may place them in the recycling trailer outside the Family Activity Center (gym).
We will be keeping a total of how many items each of the grades have brought in this year. The class winners of the competition will be announced in April.
Last year some of the parents of younger children wanted to know why the Elementary and Middle School were not included in the pizza contest; unfortunately this is beyond my scope as the Interact Club adviser to grades 7 through 12. But please send your labels to your child's teacher to help raise money or maybe even send the labels with an older student for the pizza contest. It all goes to the same place!
Thank you to all who are participating with this project. Please remember this is a friendly competition but note, that the winning grade will get a special treat (pizza party) at the end of the year.
Larry's Pizza for the last two years has been especially nice to St. Joseph School and has given us a fabulous discount on the winner's pizza party.
Ms. Beacham-Teacher and Interact Club Adviser
Thank you so much and have fun collecting for your school!
