St. Joseph School's Cross Country teams competed in the Quitman Ranch Run with more than 100 runners from other schools on October 22nd. They came away with ample recognition. The Senior Boys team won 1st Place in the 1A-3A Schools Division. The Junior Boys team also won 1st Place in their division. The Junior Girls earned 2nd Place in that 1A-3A Division.
The Top 15 runners earned medals. Seventh grader Bailey Pope came in 12th in the two-mile run with a time of 15:03. Ninth grader Ethan Hambuchen finished 14th with that same distance run at 13:02. Junior Christian Skinner placed 10th in the 5K race with a time of 18:34. Senior Will Schichtl was next in 11th Place at 18:38. Truman Martin made the cut in 15th Place at 18:55.
