Many other band members were recognized for their achievements after the concert. One of the highest honors is the Award of Excellence which went to individual musicians from the 5th and 6th grade and high school bands who were deemed best with their instruments. They are flutist Ella Crowder, saxophonist Luke Thessing, and clarinetist Eva Palmer.
