Our next Honorary Alumni is already a bulldog, but from the little town of Scotland, Arkansas. Having played St. Joseph’s in high school basketball, this individual could have never thought that becoming an Honorary Bulldog of St. Joseph’s was a possibility. In 1998, that all changed when he met his wife, Laura Hiegel-Williams (1995) and became a member of our school and church community. As many husbands know, if your wife is involved, you are too! This man has been volunteered and “volun-told” for major and minor events concerning our school and parish since the day he and Laura met. Maintaining the After School Care Buildings, moving the program and all its belongings three different times, as well as the remodeling and maintaining its new facilities has kept Jody out of trouble and on the straight and narrow! Volunteering at the Country Store during the Bazaar, Alumni functions with his wife, airing up over 50 basketballs so each Little Dribbler every year will have one, and helping our Cyber Cafe and Courtyard dream become a reality is what this great guy does in his rare spare time! His devotion and belief in this school and parish is most evident through the legacy of all six of his children attending a place that he has been a part of making better.
This man, since day one of being a part of our school, has made it a personal goal to become an Honorary Alum and to leave a lasting mark here. It is with great joy, to present Thomas Joe Williams II, “Jody” as an honorary graduate of St. Joseph High School.
